R.I.P Nelson Mandela. Africa has lost a hero but your legacy shall liveon!

RIP to a African hero Nelson Mandela! Now that he has passed of course we will have the annoying people saying "They didn't even know what the Apartheid did or what the ANC stands for" my friend all that I personally care about is if that if they didn't know? Now they know. We all share Nelson Mandela he is a icon. He is what you call a legend... he's motivated so many young people in our generation. He showed us the beauty of democracy, oneness and gave us a voice! May God give him and all the deceased the best of heavens and may WE continue fighting for Africa as a whole! We must follow in his footsteps. The progress of African countries will happen slowly but surely. FREEDOM IS STILL COMING!

Nigerian American rapper Wale explains why he hasn't been to Nigeria until now.

In a radio chat with Toolz on Beatfm yesterday, Wale said the reason he's never been to Nigeria until now was because his parents, who are both from Ondo state, were so poor they couldn't afford a bring him home.
"I grew up poor. We lived in DC, in the projects. Getting a ticket to Nigeria on $20, 000 income yearly, to my family that wasn't really... you know...like I was a 15 year old with a decent job, I'm not going to save up to go to Nigeria. That wasn't what I was thinking when I was that age. And then I was in college and the money tight right then. And then I get this record deal when I dropped out of school, you're running around so much you don't even have time to see your own parents"
